Perfect Acura TL is coming up for sale locally. Guy bought it but already has a heavily modified automatic so he’s selling his mostly stock 6MT. Black, non-cracked dash and good seats, non-nav, A-spec package. He said $5500-$6500 with 130k miles. Pretty solid price and LOCAL so no cost of going way out of state. Pretty ideal. Now I just have to get a replacement title for my Kawasaki so I can sell it and figure out financing for this.

My younger sister was driving a one-gen-newer TL with AT as a company car for her employer a while, and while it wasn’t really my bag, can’t say I had anything mean to say about it. Quite nice.

Damnnnn. I need one like this for my first car, I’ve been hunting TSXs and TLs as well as the older Civic Hatchback from the mid-2000s. All manual so I can learn too. Hopefully you buy this before anyone else steals it and rices it out.

Yeah. This gen is kind of the sweet spot for those. Obscenely rare with a manual transmission so I’m stoked to find one locally, now I just have to make the financials happen in hyperspeed.

that sucks. Sabotage it. Photoshop carfax report with accidents, floods and other crap and throw it around the car when no one is looking. Buyers will come to look at the car. See report of the car and walk away. You swoop in and get it on the cheap. Since carfax report is not real, you can sell it for profit and give me half

Seems weird that he owns 2 and is selling the manual instead of swapping the mods from the auto to the manual .

Yeah. The problem is people selling the same bike a decade newer in nicer shape for $1900 and I’m a bit intimidated with trying to wring $1500 out of mine... yikes. But that’s what I need to pay off my existing auto loan so I can get a new one.

He’s an enthusiast with four J32 vehicles and the auto one is his baby. He picked this one up, did timing belt and a bunch of other stuff to it (though it still needs radio wiring fixed and axles done) and has driven it three times but now needs an Odyssey because children.

Oof, okay yeah that’ll be a bit difficult. I tested the waters by putting my Honda Rebel up for $1k on FB . I t ransferred the title and haven’t received it in the mail yet. Pretty much all responses were like “I’ll give you $500". Yeah...no.
